Ben Ross is the teacher at English Teaching Hobart. But…he’s been teaching in Darwin for a while, and is now in Wollongong!
Ben has 30 years’ experience as an educator, having worked in primary and secondary schools, university, training, and community settings. He holds a Graduate Certificate in TESOL from Wollongong University NSW, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Macquarie University and a Master of Arts (Honours) degree from the University of Western Sydney.
Ben is an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys teaching. He believes learning can and should be fun, relevant and engaging.
Ben is aware that different learners have different learning styles and preferences. He likes to design the English language program with learners’ input, and offers a range activities, materials and resources to accommodate different learning needs. These include text books and work sheets and online materials, games, audio/visual resources, role play, and reading, writing, speaking and listening activities.
